This 7-session program is designed to help produce growers, market owners and aspiring roadside entrepreneurs understand the ins and outs of direct-to-consumer produce growing and roadside stand marketing. We will cover different topics in each session including irrigation, marketing, certifications, licensures and diversified livestock production. The session schedule is included below:

- November 6: Produce Handling and Safety
2026
- January 13: Diversified Livestock Production
- February 10: Integrated Pest Management and Irrigation
- February 24: Cut Flowers & Honey Bees
- March 10: Marketing
Each session will begin at 6:15 PM and will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Gates County Center, located at 112 Court Street, Gatesville, NC.
