The after-school program offers safe care through structured and supervised educational and recreational activities. Our after-school program runs daily Monday-Friday unless otherwise posted. On half days the program will begin at 1:15 p.m. Children are able to establish lasting and productive friendships. Every child’s interest is captured through a wide range of program topics such as robotics, drama, healthy nutrition, agriculture, arts, crafts, stem and much more.
For NEW parents please go to 4-H online and register your youth using the following instructions. Please be sure to use a valid email account that is checked daily.
For RETURNING parents who have participated in 4-H activities including but not limited to Genesis, Livestock, Teen Leads, 4-H Youth Advisory Council, and Grilling Camp please bring your registration fee and first weeks payment in person to 112 Court St, Gatesville N.C. 27938.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Half Days: 1:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
To begin after school on August 25, 2025 all youth:- Must be enrolled in 4-H online by Thursday, August 21st 5:00 p.m.
- 4-H online application must be approved prior to attending after school.
- Registration fee ($20) and first week's payment ($40) must be received Thursday, August 21st at 5:00 p.m.
- After School parent handbooks must be completed and signed prior to youth starting after school. Parent manual will be distributed once registration fee and first week's payment have been received.
- Registration Fees and first week/month payments ONLY must be turned in person to 112 Court St, Gatesville N.C. 27938. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
- MUST have a minimum of 10 youth registered for a site to operate after school.
Payment Information: Payments must be received prior to use of services. Payments are due the Monday prior to the week of service. Prepayment is REQUIRED ( one week, bi-weekly or the whole month).
IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED by Monday prior to service YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM.

Future payments can be mailed to P.O. Box 46, Gatesville NC 27938 or dropped off at 112 Court St, Gatesville N.C. 27938 in the form of cash, check or money order ONLY!
Registration Fee: $20 per child. Family discounts are not permitted!
Weekly Fee: $40 per week ( weekly fee must be paid prior to service). Fees based on flat rate. There will be no hourly charge as in previous years.
