We are excited to share highlights from the 2nd annual Tri-County Broiler Show, which includes Gates, Chowan, and Pasquotank counties! We had 5 amazing youth participants who learned valuable skills in caring for their birds and taking responsibility throughout the project.

As part of a service project, volunteers were able to donate 175 pounds of chicken to families in our communities. A big congratulations to Lucian Bowling, who placed 1st in showmanship, and EJ Burnell, who took 2nd in showmanship and was named Reserve Champion. Lucian also placed 3rd in market.

Huge shoutout to all the youth who participated—can’t wait to see what next year brings!
